What is Scrip?

Scrip is substitute money - in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They're the same gift certificates you buy at the store and online.  BUT they are sold to the Scrip Program at a discount.  That discount goes to Fort Island PTA!  PTA funds are used for a variety of school activities such as Grandparents Day, COSI and Family Night!  You use the gift certificates just like you would normally - for gifts and FOR EVERYDAY PURCHASES!!  Gas, restaurants, department stores, grocery stores and much, much more!
